So how do you do this? It is called branding and marketing. What are you branding? The answer is yourself.
About marketing, you are marketing yourself as well. You do not want to label yourself as example: "The cookie lady", "Mr. fix it man". You are being identified just as that not who you really are your name. (Ann Moses).
The definition of brand is as such: a name, term sign, symbol of design, or a combination of them intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or group of sellers and to know the difference from those of other sellers.
Branding is about you getting your potential leads or prospects to think of you as the one who can deliver what they need in a very unique and different way. You are attracted to them in a way that draws them into your product or service. Branding and Marketing requires that you understand the needs of your customer. You want to establish good communication with them be it email, phone, video conference or whatever is the best means to build a relationship for them to know, like and trust you.
Things that you need to tap into while doing your branding and marketing of yourself.
- Put emphasis on your message clearly
- Communicate in a respectful manner
- Establish a good reputation
- Motivate your potential customer
- Connect emotionally with the prospect
- Establish creditability
- Reach out to your prospect from a personal and business perspective

Consistency is also an important part of branding. You can have the best system in the world however if you neglect to use it, chances are it won't do you much good.
