Internet Marketing-Get a handle on it

When you speak of doing internet marketing to people that really don’t have a clue as to what it all entales Being on the internet playing or doing business makes a difference in the (1) amount of time you spend (2) the results (3) the growth of what you have learned by being on the internet.

It is comprised of so much and there is so much to do. In doing it you have to get a handle on it in a way you are in control of what you do every day. Having an daily tasks list will help as I like to call it. (DTL)

Here are some of the tasks that you need to have organized in doing your internet marketing.

  1. Checking emails
  2. Going to your business website
  3. Following up on leads
  4. Sending out emails
  5. Posting and commenting on your various social networking sites
  6. Listening to conference calls, webinars, and audios
  7. Reading a book to build your skills and gain education
  8. Communicating with your mentor or coach
  9. Creating marketing ads via banner or text
  10. Creating a marketing video, or podcast
  11. Share and like others content
The above list of daily tasks is not in a particular order.  The list goes on. You will need to do the organizing that best fits you and your schedule. When you get the handle on your internet marketing that is when you will not be overwhelmed by the tasks that you have to accomplish each day. Keep in mind that your daily task list will grow as you grow. You will find yourself learning more and doing more. A simple start to having a daily task list is to do a few items at time until you do it like clock work. Then you can add another one on to your list. However, life can and will get in the way of things and to handle that is to pick up where you left off the next day and keep moving your business forward. Whatever you do don't STOP! Keep it movin!

  1. Have a to do list. Accomplish that. Learn as you go go and add the new activities you learn. Master one activity at a time and you will be on your way.
